Orban Opticodec 1511e is a multi-core Intel processor, Windows 7 Professional, 1RU appliance that includes (1) Orban Optimod PC 1101e and (1) Opticodec 1010PE V3 AAC/HE-AAC/MP3 codec . The 1511e is also designed as the control appliance for the 1511EXP and has enough processing power to manage a large number of encoder instances.
